Education in Canada is under the Ministry of Education for each state and territory. Therefore, the education system is different throughout the country.

However, all Canadian Education system are standardize throughout Canada.

Moreover, for the number of high school years in Canada it varies in each state. However, when combined with elementary and secondary education, it a total of 12 years for all states except the state of Quebec and Ontario which is 13 years. However, for university level, it’s only 3 years for state of Quebec and Ontario but 4 years for other states.

The education system and the number of academic years in Canada varies by state.
