Philosophy

Box Hill School is a coeducational school for students between 11 and 18 years old. It was founded in 1959 and is a member of the Round Square, an organization committed to improving the abilities of the students. The teaching style encompasses both classroom and out-of-classroom activities. This mix of academics, out-of-classroom activities and excursions will help students develop their potential and discover their hidden talents.

Box Hill School is a relatively small school but offers a warm and caring atmosphere to all the students. Students are encouraged to both live and learn many principles such as internationalism, democracy, the environment and leadership, as well as contribute to the community.

Curriculum and Qualifications

The school focuses on small learning groups in order to provided close attention to each student. This enables the teachers to develop a fully supervised learning environment for IGCSE, A-Level and the IB Diploma option. There is also an International Study Centre to support international students in particular.

Box Hill School is located in a beautiful natural setting in Surrey, close to the main road. The school is easy to get to and located just 40 minutes from central London.
