Philosophy

Badminton School is a private school for girls with boarding option. Founded in 1858, the school currently has 450 students from primary to secondary years. In addition to the already outstanding academics, the school also focuses on a well-rounded development of all children, promoting students’ confidence and providing the opportunity for students to fully express themselves through a variety of activities. Parents are able to contact the head teacher or the classroom teacher any time.

Curriculum and Qualifications

The school offers courses for GCSE and A-Level. Students could choose to study 9 or 10 subjects from a range of subjects offered such as English Language and Literature, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Information Technology.

A range of A-Level subjects area offered for students to choose to study according to their interest. Subjects include those such as English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Nutrition, French, German, Spanish, Latin, Classical Civilization, History, Geography, Religion, Technology, Music, Arts (drawing, design, fabrics, ceramics, jewelry, and metal sculpture), gymnastics and games.

Location

The school campus is an area of 50 acres and close to the University of Bristol. Bristol is one of the key cities in the south west of England. It takes around 2 hours to travel to London by train. There is a lot of greenery surrounding the school as the school believes that a good environment would help enhance students’ learning.
