Scarborough College is an Independent Day and Boarding School for Boys and Girls aged 3 to 18 years.

Scarborough is set in beautiful surroundings and the houses are located in the quiet residential area of the south cliff. The town centre is within walking distance and has good shopping facilities which boarders can enjoy at weekends. Weekend trips also include cultural trips and the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the local area.

Curriculum and Qualifications

At GCSE the students, both British and International, follow a rigorous programme based on sound academic subjects but tailored to the needs of individuals.  In the sixth form, the students follow the International Baccalaureate which offers a stimulating and internationally renowned qualification which attracts students from all over the world and prepares them for study at the world’s major universities.


Scarborough has a direct rail link with York. York is an hour away by car. London is 3 hours by train. Regular trains run from London and Edinburgh, change at York for Scarborough. Scarborough College is approximately 5 minutes by taxi from the station.
