My summer with CETA was such a good experience. I made amazing friends and I miss them so much. I saw how different life is between Thailand and Australia, and that was really interesting. Staying at an all girls school was nothing like I expected. It was loud, fun, and totally chaotic in the best way. I got to do things I had never done before and learned a lot along the way. Honestly, I would relive that summer over eight others because I had such a great time.

I went on a trip with CETA during my summer break between Year 11 and Year 12. This experience allowed me to visit multiple universities across Brisbane and Sydney. This was very valuable as it made me feel secure about my current university choices and more importantly the actual environment and student life experience of studying in Australia. Additionally, this was my first time travelling alone and CETA helped me feel confident in my ability to study alone abroad and gave me first hand experience that I wouldn’t have gotten if I had stayed at home.

This trip I went during the summer holiday was truly unforgettable. Although it was my first time exiting Asia and traveling alone. P’Jan(our guide) ensured we were safe throughout the whole trip, brought us laughter and joy as we explored throughout Australia along side all the friends I made along the way. It was a mix of both leisure and understanding each university. Some days we are exploring all the tourist destinations or riding roller coasters while other days we were in the universities’ classroom learning and participating in workshop. CETA was able to give us a rare opportunity to explore each unique university in Australia and engage with the Thai students and teachers that we couldn’t have never met without their arrangements. Although some mornings were painful to wake up to, I never felt more excited to see and explore all around Australia with all my great friends I made along the way.
