Strong STEAM Curriculum and New Facilities
Bishop Montgomery offers students a unique STEAM Curriculum (Science, Technology Engineering, Arts and Math), with 30+ courses and newly-built facilities, including Robotics Lab, MakerSpace and computer labs.
Sports Medicine Program
The school offers a unique internship and pathway program, which allows students who are interested in medicine to take part in shadowing athletic trainers, helping at school sporting events, learning first-aid and more.
State-of the-art Anatomage Table
Students have access to a state-of-the-art Anatomage Table, which is used for anatomy visualization and digital dissection. BMHS is one of just 40 high schools in the country to have this advanced equipment.
FINE AND PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM BMHS offers students a robust arts curriculum, including 15 visual and performing arts courses. Every spring, the school hosts its Annual Arts Fest, where students display their art across multiple mediums. The school’s Drama Lab also puts on three full-length plays a year. The school’s band and choir are open to all, with no previous experience required.
ACE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM The ACE (Architecture-Construction-Engineering) Mentorship Program collaborates with California business Del Amo Construction, where students interested in the fields of architecture and engineering receive mentorship and real-world learning experiences. Students also spend time shadowing their mentor on the construction site.
MUSIC PRODUCTION CLASS BMHS offers a unique Music Production Class where students learn to play instruments typically found in rock bands, including guitar and drums. From there, students learn to run a professional-quality music studio, record their own songs and perform in a school-wide battle of the bands.
