Queenswood<\/span> is a progressive Boarding and Day School for around 470 girls, aged between 11-18, where Boarders make up roughly half of the School. An all-round education focuses on equipping the girls with the life skills required in the 21st century and they enjoy a dynamic academic curriculum, supported by a diverse co-curricular programme.<\/p>\n\n\n

Boarders come from the UK and a range of international locations, including Europe, China and the USA. Day Girls are fully integrated into the Houses, accompanying Boarders to enjoy our huge range of facilities and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Queenswood is proud to be an international community and overseas girls make up around 15% of the pupils. We welcome girls of all faiths and none, and recognise and support an individual\u2019s adherence to her own faith, but expect all girls to embrace the School\u2019s broad spiritual ethos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The girls are ambitious high achievers, winning places at top universities both at home and abroad prior to embarking upon a range of exciting careers. Individual talent also flourishes in sport and the creative and performing arts. As important as individual achievement is the development of a sense of responsibility for each other and the world in which they live. Queenswood girls are thoughtful young people with a secure set of values and self-confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beautiful Queenswood estate provides the perfect educational environment. Just 20 minutes from central London on the fast train, it also has the advantage of easy access to the cultural richness of the Capital. In addition, its proximity to major international airports provides ease of travel for overseas pupils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What the school is known for?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Queenswood is perhaps best known for its sports programme<\/a>, as our Tennis Scholars are part of a world-leading team, having achieved a bronze medal in the ISF World Schools Tennis Championship<\/a>. This sports programme has set up some of our Tennis Scholars with a bright future, as it allowed them to enter prestigious American universities on sports’ scholarships. All this secures Queenswood’s place as the No. 1 school for girls’ tennis in the UK. But Queenswood is not simply a sports school, as we also have a rigorous academic programme. Additionally, our dedicated Personalised Learning Centre<\/a> tailors the curriculum to meet every girl’s individual needs. This bespoke learning support allows all out girls to achieve their ambitions, despite any obstacles or learning difficulties that may be in their way. Coupled with our quiet and contemplative campus, our girls can focus both on their studies and their passions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
