Philosophy

Strathallan School is one of Scotland’s leading boarding and day schools located on a beautiful 153 acre campus in rural Perthshire.

Academically, Strathallan’s record is one of the strongest in the Scotland with most of pupils going on to university including Oxford and Cambridge. Every pupil is encouraged to develop his or her own potential to the full whether academically, in Sport, or Music, Art, Design Technology or Drama.  Strathallan offers a wide range of courses using both English and Scottish qualifications.

Curriculum and Qualifications

At the end of Third Form, pupils choose subjects for GCSE study. Normally pupils will choose nine subjects, which include both compulsory and optional subjects

In Sixth Form pupils narrow their studies to four or five subjects at AS level, then three or four subjects at A-level in their final year. As an alternative pupils can choose to study for Scottish Higher qualifications.

Strathallan School is situated on a 153 acre campus in rural Perthshire, about 7 miles from Perth.

Strathallan is within easy reach of the international airports – Edinburgh (45 minutes) and Glasgow (1 hour).
