Philosophy

St Leonards School is an outstanding academics school that offers both day and boarding programs. The IB results of students from St Leonards School in the Sixth Form are higher than global average. The school accepts students between 12 to 19 years old. Although the school building is designed traditionally, the school offers modern facilities to aid in students learning under a safe and warm environment.

Curriculum and Qualifications

Students ages 12to16 years old are taught in preparation for GCSE and IGCSE or Pre-IB examinations. The IB (International Baccalaureate) is a diploma, which is considered a pre-university certification.

St Leonards is the only school in Scotland that focuses on high school students in the Sixth Form courses 100% only for the IB Diploma.

Location

The school is located in St Andrews, a town that is known for renowned universities and located near the beach. There are many historical places to visit and the beautiful countryside is not that fare from big cities such as Edinburgh and Glasgow which has an international airport.
